Micro-Tourism Experience Exchange (MTEE)

Vision

MTEE unlocks authentic, small group tourism hosted by locals—craft lessons, neighborhood walks, heritage cooking—built on safety, quality, and cultural respect. Sponsors support local income diversification and resilient visitor economies that avoid overtourism traps while elevating community narratives.

Problem

Independent hosts struggle to reach the right visitors; tour operators favor scale over nuance. Quality signals and safety guidelines live in disparate blogs, forms, and PDFs. Thin trust and weak discovery suppress bookings even where demand exists, leading to underutilized community assets and missed income.

Solution

Cosolvent verifies hosts, insurance, and reviews while enabling LLM+RAG over unstructured assets: itineraries, house rules, safety checklists, permits, and multimedia previews. Visitors can ask, “find two-hour experiences within 1 km, wheelchair accessible, with food allergy notes,” and the system extracts the relevant passages from uploads. ClientSynth simulates seasonal demand and host availability to demonstrate corridor feasibility to tourism boards and sponsors. This credible preview de-risks place-based pilots and speeds activation.

Business Model

Monetization includes booking fees, premium host tiers, and city or DMO sponsorships. White label programs can power destination microsites. Sponsors receive evidence of inclusive participation, spend capture in underserved areas, and compliance adherence, supporting long term investment.
