Micro I Transit Integration Exchange (MTIE)

Vision

MTIE connects community shuttles, paratransit, school buses, and rideIhail operators into a discoverable, bookable layer that fills first/last mile gaps. The vision is a stitched network where small providers interoperate through simple rules and APIs so riders get predictable, affordable trips to work, school, and care. Sponsors back inclusive mobility that reduces congestion and extends the reach of fixedIroute transit.

Problem

Local mobility is fragmented: providers run on siloed software, spreadsheets, or phones; eligibility rules and hours vary; and riders can’t compare options or book multi-leg trips. Cities and agencies lack visibility to coordinate coverage or evaluate equity. Valuable service capacity sits idle while needs go unmet, especially at off-peak times and in service deserts.

Solution

Cosolvent standardizes provider profiles, eligibility rules, and booking windows. With LLM+RAG, agencies and operators upload policy PDFs, GTFS feeds, SOPs, and contracts and ask “which providers allow same day wheelchair bookings east of Main after 6pm?” with cited snippets. ClientSynth simulates demand across neighborhoods and schedules to preview onItime performance and equity impacts so sponsors can fund the right service bundles.

Business Model

Revenue includes per-booking clearing fees and municipal subscriptions; health systems can underwrite medical access trips. Over time, governed performance data informs planning and grants, supporting a sustainable sponsor ROI narrative tied to access and emissions outcomes.
